I just got mine so I can't speak to longevity of the band but I wanted to comment on the fit. The band is way too long. There is about 2 inches of the strap that sticks out past the keepers, and because the keepers are located very close to the end of the band it sticks straight up from my wrist. I will probably cut the end off. And because the buckle and the keepers are so close to the end of the band instead of closer to the middle, they sit at the side of my wrist and are not super comfortable. It's fine enough that I don't feel like sending it back but I probably won't purchase another if this is how all NATO's bands are sized.
I also was disappointed that all the brown bands in the size I needed were all reddish tinted (I just wanted a flat brown/tan color, but had heard good things about NATO's quality so I decided to try it anyway).

It's comfortable but the leather is really thin, doesn't stay under the keepers very well even when tucked. Color is nice
