Good strap, a bit thick for the hardware

This strap looks good, seems strong, and does what it is designed to do. There are enough holes to fit very small or quite large wrists. The width is as advertised; I wear it with a Seiko 5 watch which takes 18mm bands and it fits perfectly. I use it a lot for outdoor activities, and as far as I can tell it hasn't been damaged by scraping against stones, trees, etc. either functionally or cosmetically, or by being soaked in sweat or water.

The one thing with which I'm not thrilled is how thick the strap is compared to the hardware. Nylon straps like this always suffer the problem of fraying when forced with pressure against and through hardware, no matter how well one shapes and melts the ends, and the 'loops' on this strap are a little short, top to bottom, to accomodate the thickness of the nylon when it is pushed through twice (as appropriate for this type of strap). I've trimmed the end to a shape which works pretty well, but I expect after a few more weeks of use I will have to trim it again, and eventually I will run out of strap. So, sizing up the hardware to fit the thicker strap would be a good move.
